DBRP 2000 Thread

"Altena, why didn't you tell anyone you were coming up?" Leif asked, seeing his sister.

"Sorry, I wanted it to be a surprise," she replied. "It's good to see you, Leif. I hope you're ready to lose."

"Heh, not a chance."

The preliminaries went fairly quick and the eight fighters who came out on top were:
Ekev- Black Eagles School
Ares- Black Eagles School
Grimm- Blue Lions School
Sophie- Golden Deer School
Altena- No Affiliation
Leif- Golden Deer School
Seliph- Blue Lions School
Ced- Wolf School

"All right, ladies and gentlemen! Let's get these fights'a rollin! First up we have

Seliph vs Ced
Sophie vs Altena
Ekrev vs Grimm
Ares vs Leif

Let's get the two fighters out here!"

"Wolf school? Something like that existed?" Grimm asked, he wasn't aware there were schools beyond Golden Deer, Blue Lions and Black Eagles.

"Hmph, like, I guess I could watch this lame fight." Sophie said, but she was still fiddling with her phone.

"Wolf School?" Seliph asked the green haired man who seemed to be a bit older than him.

"Yes," Ced replied. "It's located miles away from Central City. My master is also my father, Lewyn. It may be hard to believe for you, but he'd give your father trouble. Now, shall we proceed?"

"Okay, let's do this!" Seliph threw himself into defense and waited for his opponent to make the first move.

Ced put himself into a unique stance and plunged forward. "Wolf Fang Fist!!!" He began an assault on Seliph pushing him back quickly. Seliph could do nothing but guard, staying on the defense. As soon as Seliph saw an opening he slammed a fist at Ced's head, however he dodged the blow and threw an uppercut at Seliph's chin knocking him backwards.

"W-What?" Seliph was stunned at the man's speed. "Heh, to be honest, I underestimated you."

"A mistake, Seliph. Just because you're on top in your school, doesn't mean you can't meet your match elsewhere."

"You're right, let's continue."

"Wolf fang fist...That's a legendary move right there." Grimm said, as he recognized it. "Seliph has met his match."

Seliph focused and shot a Tyrfing Push forward. Ced however was able to completely resist it and knee Seliph in the face.

How did he resist a kiai? An empowered one at that! Seliph was on guard yet again as Ced pushed forward. He then fired a ki blast forward that caused Seliph to jump in the air.

"Okamihameha!!!" Ced launched his wave upwards at Seliph, who quickly sent back the Tyrfing Wave. The waves were then canceled and Ced was nowhere to be seen.

"H-Huh?!" Seliph exclaimed. Ced then appeared in front of him, kicking him down out of bounds.

"And the winner is Ced!" Ced flew over and helped Seliph back to his feet.

"H-How are you so strong?!" Seliph exclaimed.

"Heh, I just have more training is all," Ced replied. "Don't worry, you have more potential than I do. I can tell that much."

"The next match is Sophie vs Altena!"

"Hmph, another girl," Sophie said. "Ugh, these bigots and their misogyny. Fine, let's do it. I hope you fight as well as you're pretty." She said to Altina, before assuming a stance.

"The princesses are going to fight...It'll be worth watching." Grimm replied.

"Aww, you think I'm pretty?" Altena asked half-sarcastically. She put her body into a stance and the announcer yelled begin. She flew forward throwing a kick at Sophie's head to start the fight. Once her leg reached back down she would thrust a barrage of punches towards Sophie's chest.

"What the?!" Sophie was hit in the back of her head and Altina quickly was punching her chest. "Aaah! There it is," She drooled. As she was getting hit, she would attempt to hit Altina with a punch square to the face.

Altena was punched in the face from Sophie's blow. She'd then launch for a headbutt at Sophie's head to knock her back.

And Sophie headbutted Altena back, the two girls had their heads against each others. Blood trickled down Sophie's forehead. "Give me more...Don't disappoint me like the others." Sophie would then attempt to grab Altina's head by one hand and uppercut her.

Altena took the blow and smiled as blood trickled out of her mouth. "Heh, right back at you!" Altena would pull back and slam her fist at Sophie's face. She'd then throw a sharp hook at Sophie's ribs. Swiftly, she would turn her body in a circle and throw a backhand fist at Sophie's face.

"W-Wow, these girls are scary!" Ekrev said from the side.

Altina would slam Sophie in the face, then take a hit at her ribs, sending her a few feet backwards.

"Oof," Sophie clutched her side and she struggled to get up, but still, she was smiling, she was enjoying this. As Altina came for a fist to her face, Sophie would grab her arm. "Bad move!" If she succeeded in catching her arm, she would twist it and slam Altina into the ground.

Altena was grabbed and thrown to the ground. Altena still being held would then pull Sophie down towards her and ram her fist at Sophie's gut.

"Urgh!" Sophie had Altina's fist ram into her gut, and she spurted blood. "Aaah~ I can't take it anymore..." She bit her lower lips seductively and attempted to kick Altena away, out of bounds. She had totally lost her mind by now.

Altena blocked her kick with her arm as she skidded backwards. "What's wrong with you?"
