How does Goku Black have Zenkai's?

I know the manga supplied an explanation for this, that the Zenkai's were pretty much him slowly learning how to use Goku's body. However, it doesn't make much or any sense. Goku himself stopped gaining Zenkai's in the Freeza saga, which was years ago.

Possibly because it was a different person using his body. I don't think his power was at Goku's level when he got it. I mean, just look at how he couldn't use Super Saiyan Blue. He had to learn everything on his own, so I guess zenkais were working as well. Since he's so ridiculously strong regardless, it doesn't make sense for him to be able to do though. It kind of lacks a good description in all honesty. But I'd just say it goes along with Zamasu accessing everything on his own. How he can use Instant Transmission and Kamehameha right away, but not Super Saiyan is beyond me.

Well, for starters, I don't think it was stated Goku stopped receiving zenkais after the Frieza arc. Sure, he didn't seem to get stronger after being near death, but I think he did get stronger but it was too small to be noticeable.

Anyways, I think it was more like Zamasu getting used to Goku's body. And maybe him being a god or something made the zenkais exaggerated. It's also why instead of getting Blue, he has rose.
